Commercial painter • Stirling, Scotland

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a commercial painter in Stirling, Scotland. You will be based on commercial fit-out projects. You should have: • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately The role involves: • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers • Sand and fill walls before applying primer • Spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
