Shuttering fixer • Malda District, West Bengal

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Malda District, West Bengal. You will be based on a busy high-rise construction site. Ideally you have sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing; hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork; knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing. You will erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer ₹12,500 per month plus benefits.
