Gas appliance installer • Maigatari, Jigawa State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Maigatari, Jigawa State. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Day to day you will set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves.
