Immediate opening: press operator (Kano State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press operator in Sumaila, Kano State. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. Your main tasks: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. ₦155,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
