Aluminium tig welder — Cornwall

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Cornwall, England. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day The role involves weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around £95 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
