Sheet metal press operator — Ikorodu

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Ikorodu, Lagos State. You will work at an auto components factory. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading The role involves: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges Full-time with occasional weekends.
