Great opportunity: vacuum press operator (New Jersey)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Gloucester County, New Jersey. You will work at a garment factory. On the job you will handle: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Give each garment a final press before packing • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 3+ years on the tools preferred.
