Urgent requirement: brickwork mason (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Will County, Illinois. The job is on a commercial construction site. The role involves erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Full-time with occasional weekends.
