Estate gardener — Floyd County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an estate gardener in Floyd County, Iowa. You will be based in a residential garden complex. Requirements: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Happy to work outdoors in all weather The role involves: • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
