Urgent requirement: trainee butcher (Niger State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Katcha, Niger State. On the job you will handle: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts Requirements: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
