Slinger signaller — Lau

Vacancy available: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Lau, Taraba State. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. On the job you will handle: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
