Urgent requirement: we are hiring a confectioner in Okene, Kogi State. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Your main tasks: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough ₦8,500 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
