Now hiring: we are hiring a prep cook in Nance County, Nebraska. The job is in a hotel kitchen. On a typical shift you will cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks. You should have: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
