Now hiring: we are hiring a pressman in Abi, Cross River State. The job is in a tailoring workshop. You will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep 3+ years on the tools preferred.
