Garment presser — Ahoada East

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment presser in Ahoada East, Rivers State. You will be based in a busy laundry. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work On a typical shift you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; give each garment a final press before packing; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board.
