Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Boone County, Kentucky. You will work at a road and highway construction project. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat On a typical shift you will swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift.
