Day-to-day duties: • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream You should bring basic cake decorating and piping skills; able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen; able to lift 25 kg flour sacks.
