Counter butcher wanted in Cass County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a counter butcher in Cass County, Texas. You will be based in a meat processing plant. Day to day you will dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Six days a week, one day off. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
