Now hiring: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Bath County, Virginia. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Day to day you will feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation.
