Foundry worker — Okigwe

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry worker in Okigwe, Imo State. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
