Vacancy available: we are hiring a finish carpenter in DuPage County, Illinois. The job is at a shopfitting company. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height The role involves: • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
