Vacancy available: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Crosby County, Texas. The job is in a public park. Day to day you will apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters. Requirements: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
