Great opportunity: punch press operator (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a punch press operator in Scott County, Illinois. You will work at an auto components factory. On the job you will handle: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 1+ years on the tools preferred. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
