Immediate opening: we are hiring a gardener in Marshall County, Iowa. Day-to-day duties: • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads Requirements: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
