Horticulturist • Ukhrul, Manipur

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horticulturist in Ukhrul, Manipur. You will be based at a plant nursery. Ideally you have able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers; happy to work outdoors in all weather. On the job you will handle: • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
