We are recruiting: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Clay County, Missouri. You will work at a halal meat counter. On a typical shift you will break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; season and marinate meat on request; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Rotating shifts. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
