We are recruiting: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Rockwall County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding The role involves sand and fill walls before applying primer; mix and tint paint to match colour swatches; apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting.
