Sausage maker • Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sausage maker in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. You should bring 2+ years experience working as a butcher; food hygiene / HACCP certificate; physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day. The role involves: • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around ₹80 per hour, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
