Plant operator wanted in Clackamas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Clackamas County, Oregon. The job is in an open-cast quarry. On a typical shift you will keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds. You should have: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience.
