Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers The role involves: • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers 3+ years on the tools preferred.
