We are recruiting: we are hiring a pressman in Clay County, Missouri. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Day to day you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
