Canteen cook wanted in Kleberg County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a canteen cook in Kleberg County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces Ideal candidate: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
