Gang bricklayer — Jackson County

Join our team: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Jackson County, Oklahoma. Day-to-day duties: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder You should have: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
