Gypsum plasterer • Lorain County, Ohio

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Lorain County, Ohio. Day-to-day duties: • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster You should have: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • CSCS card or willing to obtain one 2+ years on the tools preferred.
