Now hiring: we are hiring a pastry baker in Luton, England. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. You should have: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen On a typical shift you will rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
