Butcher wanted in Kenedy County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a butcher in Kenedy County, Texas. You will work at a halal meat counter. Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day The role involves stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case.
