Immediate opening: port container crane operator (Enugu State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Udi, Enugu State. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. What we are looking for: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging You will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL). ₦120,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
