Protective coatings painter — Olmsted County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Olmsted County, Minnesota. You will be based on commercial fit-out projects. The role involves fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames; mix and tint paint to match colour swatches; strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; measure up and work out paint and material quantities. Ideal candidate: • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
