Immediate opening: we are hiring a furniture maker in Bates County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Own basic hand tools • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists On a typical shift you will glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
