We are recruiting: port container crane operator (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Muscogee County, Georgia. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. You should have: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Day-to-day duties: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
