Immediate opening: brick and block layer (Uttar Pradesh)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) On a typical shift you will installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around ₹31,500 per month, based on your experience.
