Now hiring: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. On a typical shift you will setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
