Immediate opening: we are hiring a sausage maker in Kagarko, Kaduna State. Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife Part-time with flexible hours.
