Restoration bricklayer wanted in Walker County

Join our team: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Walker County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
