Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in Clinton County, Michigan. The job is on a busy civils and groundworks site. The role involves: • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
