Gardener wanted in Orange County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gardener in Orange County, Indiana. You will work on a golf course. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage You will rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease. 4+ years on the tools preferred. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
