Estate gardener wanted in Steuben County

Now hiring: we are hiring an estate gardener in Steuben County, Indiana. What we are looking for: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Valid driving licence for travel between sites On a typical shift you will dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
