Join our team: we are hiring a sausage maker in Greene County, Virginia. You should have: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers On a typical shift you will run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
