Presser — Franklin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a presser in Franklin County, Massachusetts. The role involves operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; give each garment a final press before packing; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience.
