Foundry operative — Biu

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry operative in Biu, Borno State. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards You will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces.
